I Know This COVID-19 Has Been A Game Changer In All Of Our Lives…, But I Hope Inside This Curse You Are LQQKIN’ 4 Or Finding UR Blessings!!!  The Problem With Life…, Is That…, LIFE…, Gets In The Way Of Life!!!  This Pandemic Has Finally Slowed Life Down Enuff So That We Can STEP OFF The Treadmill & Truly Re-Engage With Our Inner Selves!!!  4 That Gift I Am 4ever Grateful As I’ve Been Able 2 Truly Go Inside Of Self & FLOURISH!!!

My Inspiration Has Been My Daughter!!!  This Chick NEVER Showed NE Aspirations Of Being An Outdoors Type!!!  Then Maybe 6-7 Years Ago On Her Birthday The Guy She Was Dating Took Her On A Hike & Something Inside Of Her ERUPTED!!!  She Broke Up W/The Guy (a health nut, no personality type lol)…, But Her Passion Was IGNITED!!! 

Fast FWD To 2day…, She Has Her Own Hiking Company “HIKEOLUTION” & Has Changed Her Entire Lifestyle Around That Whilst Holding Down Her Day JOB In The Newark Court System.  Not 2 Mentioned She Met & Is Engaged 2 A New Guy (i actually like) W/A September 2020 Wedding Date!!!  PHEWWW!!!  LMAO!!!

Read These Moving Words Written By Her Old School Mate (another of my extended daughters that traveled through life with her) Written After A Hike She Commissioned From Keyana Over The Weekend.

JH228: #soamazing  This is the only way I can describe the hiking experience led by @splitpersonality24_7 of @hikeolution.  As today’s #blackwomanbossup feature, Keyana led a private hike through several trails in South Mountain Reservation.  Her expert knowledge, personable manner, and overall spirit made the experience one to remember.

Hiking companies you may need to step your game up because this boss offers a unique experience to be rivaled by many (my words not hers).

Today we celebrate Queen Keyana and her commitment to creating an environment for African Americans and all people for that fact to feel comfortable and empowered to hike.  As she stated today, hiking is not limited to a select privileged few and everyone should feel welcome no matter your background or skill level!  Please like, share and follow Hikeolution.  Highly recommended!!!!!

That’s My 1^st Born Wild Child!!!  I Love That Girl!!!  LOL!!!  As 4 Me…, This Down Tyme Found Me Re-Discovering The Gift Of My Hands!!!  I Was Blessed W/A Sharp Mind, A Strong Back, & Workman’s Hands!!!  I’ve Done So Many Damn Projects Around The House Itz Krazy!!!  I’ve Built Shelves, I’ve Replaced My 100 AMP Electric Panel With A Bigger More Robust 200 Amp Panel, I’m Cleaning Out My Basement, I’m Working On A Wood Plank Feature Wall In The Kitchen, I’ve Grown Grass In My Backyard (this from a man who can kill cactus), & I’m Re-Discovering My Joy Of  CREATING Muzak!!!

A Few Of You Folks Have Seen Me PERFORM Live Muzak W/My Ex-Band After A 10 Year Run (sigghhh)…, But Not Create My Own Original Muzak That Burns Inside Of Me The Way Prince’s Muzak Burned Inside Of Him Forcing Him 2 Go World Wide & Global With It!!! 

Since I’ve Never Really Seen Myself As An Artist Per Se…, I’ve Always Felt More Like A Song Writer, Musician, Producer, Engineering Type Who Is Behind The Scenes Doing All That Ish As Opposed 2 Out Front Performing ala Usher!!!  But…, I AM NOT Bashful & Sing The Leads On All My Original Ish Whether U Love My Voice Or Not!!!  Probably Not!!!  ROFLMAO!!!

My Son (a full on musician himself) Has Been Trying 4 Like The Last 5 Years Or So 2 Get Me 2 Shake Up My Ole Skool Workflow From Decades Ago & Get Onboard With How Muzak Is Made 2day!!!  I Finally Heeded His Advice Over These Last Few Weeks & You CANNOT Get My Azz Out The Studio Now!!! 

I Am Loving The New Way I’ve Incorporated The Things Of The Past I Love With The Fusion Of How Technology Works 2day!!!  Itz Made Me Break Out Of My “COMFORT ZONE” 2 Let Go & Embrace A New Way Of Working But Still Being Able 2 Utilize The Knowledge I’ve Gained In My 40 Years Of Being A Musician!!!

I Grew Up On Live Instrumentation & The Midi World!!!  This New Generation Is Flying Samples In/Out & Using Live Audio Rather Than Midi Clips!!!  So I’m Catching Up Just A Bit Here & There 2 Round Out My Sound!!!  So Much 2 Learn…, So Much 2 Xperiment With…, & I’ve Got Nothing But Tyme On My Hands 2 Do So!!!  LOL!!!

I Re-Cut My Own Auto-Biographical “Purple Rain” Song If You Will.  It’s Called “We Have That Kind Of Love.”  It Peeks Into My Life As I Frame Everything From My Mom Raising Me, My Dad Leaving, My Kids Being Born, As I Tried 2 Build Whatever My Life Was Gonna Be!!!
